Am cooking some chicken soup, for both the body and the soul. Need something to heal me... Chewy's seated on my lap, occasionally stepping on my tummy and thighs. she's getting heavy. she's learning off-leash work now, i.e. learning to obey my commands even when there's no leash on her. Dogs are such wonderfully loyal creatures. no matter how hard we punish and discipline her, she always yearns for our attention and affection. they are such lovable creatures. i cannot imagine what life would be like without her in our lives. Am trying to find a date next year for our church wedding. none of the "special" days fall on a saturday, so we would hv to settle for any date which the church is available. haha, now matt would need to rem a new date for our wedding anniversary, and we would both need to buy extra presents for an additional day of the year! yippee! will ask mum to check all sats in the beginning of the year, and we'll match it with the chu

It's Been a Busy Month So Far

May was supposed to be a month of hectic holidaying. 1. Taipei Trip (10 May - 14 May) We had a wonderful trip to Taipei. Leaving for lunch at jumbo in 45 mins. today's labour day and the day my grandma went into labour to have my dad. so we're gonna celebrate her efforts some 60 over years ago later. haha. (huo4 hai4 bu4 shao3). shall be venturing to settlers' cafe later for a while with the MM ppl from CTK. hope it will be fun. yesterday, after obedience class, we bought chewy new fencing so she won't be in a cage anymore. but... she tore up the newspapers laid in her pee pan. so kenna big smacking and punishment this morning. bad naughty dog she is. she can't really "down" yet. guess she doesn't understand what we want her to do... will try to practice more with her on the "down" command. bought tickets for this contemporary dance performance by Nederlands Dans Theatre on 20 Jun. My birthday treat for myself. seemed to have a lot of things planned on that week. which is really bad cos surgery's on 16 jun, and chewy's test is on 18 jun and
