Another bullet, healthy one

Ordered one of these off the web, i hope it'll be useful and easy to clean.  Joining the juicing wagon a bit late.  This isn't one of those slow cold-pressed juicers alright, it is supposed to "pulverise" everything so you drink the fibre and all.  No residual pulp.

Twenties were fun, but i'd rather be in my thirties

对人不要太苛刻,不要太快认定人家就是你想的那样。给彼此一点空间,一个台阶下。不要把别人和自己逼到墙角。这样会不会好些呢? Matt and I witnessed this at pp the other day.  A middle-aged lady (hereinafter "MAL") was blocking the exit path of a baby pram.  Said baby pram wheeled by presumably the father (herinafter "PPF") was trying to navigate out of the lift.  MAL finally realised she was in the way after a while and stepped out of the way.  By then there were 2 guys who have stepped out of the lift and the whole jean gang in the lift waiting.  PPF didn't look like he was irritated by MAL.  But when one of the young guys (herinafter "YMG) reentered the lift, he muttered "bodoh" under his breath, presumably at the MAL who was blocking the path of the PPF and thus holding up everyone. MAL exited the lift at the next floor and scolded the YMG something in Malay, too cheem for me to comprehend.  I suppose MAL was not happy she was called a bodoh.  Yes, MAL was probably obtuse for not noticing that she was in th

The estimation of two things baffle me....

One, time.   I can't do without a watch.  I'm so used to having it on my wrist to look at.  Sometimes I am driving the car, and I start to wonder how many minutes have passed since i began my journey... I actually can't tell you exactly.  I'll probably say things like 5 or 10 mins, but never 3 mins, 8 mins or even 12 mins.  That's too exact for an estimation.  It gets even harder for me when it stretches beyond 30 mins.  I suppose some people have an inner timer in their heads/bodies, and they are able to tell that "we've walked for around 45 mins now so given our average walking speed of 2 km/h we should have covered 1.5 km."  It turned out he wasn't too far off.  How did he do that?  Two, price of things.   I need to google it to know. I was recently sent this article about a family building a catamaran.  I didn't have an inkling as to how much it would take to build a big 77-footer cat.  Initially I was guessing around a million

This is going to cost me...

Nothing in actual money but a lot of damage to my waistline

I bit the bullet! Thanks bay I love the present!!

Apologies I've been neglecting this blog.  Been busy with work and life in general.  Ahem, i do pack my schedule quite a bit with drama watching, friend gatherings, shopping (both physical and web-based), surfing the net, etc.  They are not life-and-death activities, yes, but i still feel very occupied.  Even if I have zero real kiddos in my life. Really. Apparently a husband and pet dog does not count as real children or responsibilities, and that apparently maketh me a darn free person, whatever. First of all, I'm happy to announce that I'm feeling very excited today, even though it's a dreadful Monday, but it's a Monday of a short work week with a long weekend, so it feels like Tuesday, which kinda makes it less sickening.  I used to have a phobia of taking the bus or train, not because they are unreliable (well to a certain extent they do fail, sometimes rather horrifically like last week for example) but largely because I was worried I wouldn't be able to
