How can one possess a voice that is so sickeningly " Sweet "??? I wonder aloud after putting down the receiver. Aiyoh... her voice is what i would call "dheh". so " girly " and breathy and her pace is so slow!! gosh, wished i didn't have to speak to her at all. Ah well, mornings are like shit nowadays... i must not despair cos there's always hope. i shall pray for my boss tonight, so that she may become a better person. (and won't end up in hell) i would like to have chicken chop for dinner tonight. i want to have some great ideas in my head. i want to be smarter and brighter, and a better person altogether!

Monday's are lousy, so why would someone expect something out of the usual? but today's terribly LOUSY with a big L big O big U big S big Y! i'm suffering from a significantly high dosage of moodiness, served up with a clump of indignance. Ah well, "this is not my day" i say. Sometimes i just wish i wouldn't get affected by all these, but it's just so hard not to. Hv to keep psychoing myself to be happy, positive and think on the bright side. God, help! It's just one of those days where you wished ppl around you were nicer to each other. you know that feeling? WHY DO WE TORTURE OURSELVES THIS WAY? why can't ppl live with each other happily and not try to compete with each other? why can't we just cut each other some slack?

Saturday! We walked chewy in the morning and did some laundry. after dat, just basically didn't do anything and slept. sleepy weekend it was!! woke up to do some facial (silk whitia) that was quite good, and went to church for our rite of sending off... reminds me of a funeral, but it was basically something for the congregation to see that the RCIA and RCIY produced 52 catechumens who are ready for baptism this easter. Yes! we are getting baptised into the catholic church this Easter! ain't that exciting? Which reminds me, i need to do some shopping soon, need a white dress for the grand occasion. From thence i shall have a new name in a new life. " NATALIE " is a very beautiful dancer that i knew and admired from school days. I don't think she's in SDT anymore. but she had perfectly arched feet. another dancer and very good friend of mine has Natalie as her confirmation name as well. We met and dined at Menotti tonight with a tiramisu for a cake. everyone looked good, cept for yours truly... was glad to see everyone, but was a little tired and pained by the blisters on my feet... darn pretty shoes, but so painful splurged today on several gifts for frens, and of course some masks from sasa which can come in useful now that i look old and haggard... tomorrow's friday, but i don't know whether i should be happy or not. i guess happy or not, i'll still have to go thru it. so i'd rather it be pleasant than depressing you know? ke shi xin you yu er li bu zu. you can't wish for miracles to happen overnight to a personality built up thru 20+ yrs, so i shall be patient for the day God takes away my misery so that i may become a happier person.. Last night, i went with my hungarian charges to the Night Safari. Boy, it's my first time there man.. would have so loved to get down for a walk on the trails. I'm going back there again, for sure! well done S'pore Zoo. We've really hit on some great formula. The guide had a very nice brit accent, and i totally enjoyed listening to her. i nearly wanted to check her out. she's lee-an. ah... such a sweet voice came back home to a limping dog and a man who went to view another woman's blog. is that considered adultery??? esp since the woman in question is rather good looking given society's standards... hmm... cold shoulder him today my dog is darn cute. she's learnt to jump on the sofas though. which is damn bad thing, cos i may find some unwanted "gold" on the sofa if i'm not careful. spanked her silly when i found her on the red couch. hope she learns. or else it's going to be heartache and pain once again....

Obvious signs of stress... (i) waking up before the alarm goes off, at the same time every morning (ii) falling asleep by the 2nd VCD showing my fav korean man Mr Kwon (iii) acne breakouts on the forehead... bad bad breakouts.... Those are nature's way of telling you, you are so hung up about nothing at all! Why get stressed over something as transient as work? or your boss? they come and they go, they're not you. you are definitely not your work and your work definitely is not you. (contrary to what chairman says) so hey, loosen up! enjoy your life man! Why stress? why not slack abit, take in the sunshine and the birds' songs, and the breeze caressing your face?

When you see a posting, it means that i'm not working. obviously i can't be doing both at the same time. duh... Today's a very unsettling day. You see all sorts of ppl in the workplace, the good the bad and the ugly. There are some who are purely in it for the money, some ppl just want to get by and can't be bothered, and some the truly rare ones, do see the greater meaning of what they do. No matter what their aims are, there are those who maintain their dignity and pride and refuse to bend on their principles and conscience, and there are those who don't see the wrong in trampling all over you to get what they desire. The prob comes when the org sees these "tramplers" as ppl with drive and motivation. The tramplers are often rewarded with promotions and pay raises. When the middle and upper managment is crowded with such tramplers, you'll see the turnover rate hit the roof. ppl see the example set by the tramplers and are unhappy. when you

i know it's feb, and it's kinda late for NEW year resolutions, but well... better late than never right? (self-consoling again) i think for the remaining time this year, i want to:- earn more money learn to be a better mum to my daughter, chewy speak better japanese the first is for the future, the second is so that i can grow more nurturing and patient, and third to enrich myself and accomplish something that i've always wanted to.
