Bout of gastricitis again. yep. again. think there's serious damage in my digestive system. seem to always suffer from indigestion or gastric. must be the unhealthy food i ingest all the time. Was at aunt's house last wed, when we talked about the traditional gifts for the bride. According to hokkien tradition, the groom's family is supposed to present the bride's family with pig trotters and cakes. and the bride gets a gold bangle from the in-laws as a gift. hmm... the modernised version calls for pig trotters in a can, bengawan solo cake vouchers and a whie gold/platinum bracelet perferably studded with diamonds (har har!) We are arranging for both sets of parents to meet "officially" on puasa day (although they've met like many times before)... all sounds kinda fun i think.... We are going to bangkok afterall. seems like there's not much prob getting around bangkok, so we'll still go and have some fun, maybe get some wedding favours as
