I am suffering from a bout of rashes. and i suspect that it has got to do with the wonderful super-tasty crabs i had last night. Let me repeat that: "SUPER-DUPER TASTY CRABS - BOTH THE SAMBAL CHILLI AND THE VERMICELLI VERSIONS!!!" It was the first time i had such big crabs. and there were fresh drunken prawns as well. The vege was fantastic too. so was the fried mee suah. i was so full after the meal that i had a nightmare last night! and that's why i'm paying for it today. itchy scratchy rashes all over! the funny thing was, i went to doctors after work, and waited and waited, but there was emergency after emergency, so i cancelled my appointment. then i came home and saw Dr Wickie Wong at the RMG in the next block?!?!? amazing. he's apparently no longer working at RMG Changi Airport. haha.

We just returned from a wonderful break in Bali... 4 days of absolute peace and tranquility.... This is actually Ngurah Rai Airport at Denpasar. Beautiful isn't it? This is our hotel situated in Nusa Dua - Melia Hotel. It is actually quite idyllic. Hao-e is as usual trying to act inconspicuous... yah right.... Everyday started with a scrumptious breakfast at El Patio Then off to busk in the hot sun and sweltering heat. But by the second day, hao-e was lobster-red and suffering from bad bad sunburn. So we went under cover - Gianyar for Shopping then!! Did you see those interesting things they were selling??? The masks were scary weren't they?? *Naughty grin* We also went to one of the most sacred places in Bali - Uluwatu temple, perched atop a cliff, it was magnificent just taking in the sunset, the waves clapping onto the cliff walls, the Indian Ocean winds howling in our ears. Kecak Dance was next, it was hilarious the sounds the "choir" made... All in all, it was ...

Today's Monday again.... But good news is i'm going to be out of town by the weekend. Gets me excited like anything... hee. Bali here i come. hope the weather will be great since i'd just gotten myself some nice bikinis from far east. if it rains the whole weekend, i'll be really sad.

Guess what i did the past few days? 29 Dec - Lazed around at home, then met up with long-time friend in town. followed by dinner party at colleagues' house. 30 Dec - slept in. then hubby's friends came over for mahjong session 31 Dec - Went to church in the morn. Bought groceries and had good friends come over for dinner. 1 Jan - went to visit my grandparents. then went for scrumptious buffet at ling zhi restaurant. followed by a visit to an old grand uncle/aunt. and then back home for dinner and more lazing around. slept at what...9pm??? 2 Jan - couldn't sleep till morning so got up to upload some pictures for developing till 7am in the morning.... there's something seriously wrong with my sleep cycle now.... hubby's friends came over for mahjong at 9.30am in the morning (yawnz!!) It's back to work tomorrow, and i am so not looking forward to it. what sorta new year resolutions do i have?? None so far. except be a better person. that things work out f...

We wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year! its a long weekend here in Singapore with the new year clashing with hari raya, so we are off work till tomorrow! today's the last day of this long weekend though... so a little sad about it. fell asleep on the couch last night at 9pm and woke up at 1am. started to upload the pictures from our wedding on the foto developing website, and it took so long. partly because of the taiwanese earthquake that caused our internet connections to be so slow. the other reason was, the photos were taken professionally, hence they were really big files. and i didn't want to risk have pixelated pictures, so was resistant to sizing them prior to uploading. Ended up watching TV at 5am in the morning, cos by then i was just not in the mood for sleep. The serial on channel 55 was - jin zhi yu nie - about the "back palace" affairs. there were so many beautiful but scary women hungering for power, fighting and scheming against on...
