just did the online check-in for the second flight back to sgp. american airlines didn't allow me to check in cos ours is considered an international flight. ah well. so we would have to check in at the counter tomorrow morning. and, we'll be meeting serene for lunch tomorrow in new york! haven't seen her in ages, though we've been conversing on fb fairly frequently. she's actually living in new jersey but she's coming all the way to manhattan to meet us! is touched. and of course i can't wait for to have some good korean tofu lunch.... before our very long flight back to singapore. hope the flight doesn't get delayed because of bad weather. i will be awfully disappointed. soon and very soon... i'll see you guys very soon! muak!

3.5 more working days. my mind is on holiday! last evening's kickboxing class totally killed me! i huffed and puffed and threatened to punch my imaginary opponent senseless, but in the end, it was i that suffered, not the air molecules that got knocked around. my body is aching like a 90-year-old who's just completed 100 push-ups. i couldn't sleep last night because of the pain. i had to wake hao-e up to massage my shoulder-blades which were so sore and is still kicking up a ruckus behind me. my gosh! i tis old and feeble.

i've booked us a table at wild rocket for valentine's day. =)

just have to get through 7 more working days, then we're off to singapore. my mind has been on holiday since last tuesday. i don't know whether it's the cny syndrom or the just-before-vacation syndrom. i guess both. my soul is on holiday. period. went to the SISLEY sale last friday. wasn't rewarded. tried like 4 pairs of trousers, not happy with the tapered cut. big butt = straight, wide or boot, no tapered, ever. i ventured into the store at 4.55pm, 5 mins before closing time. the staff wasn't happy of course. but there were other ladies trying out clothes so i didn't bother with the looks i was getting. seriously, talk about service culture, zilch lah. so today's monday again, and i'm suffering from the blues as usual. hence the very bad tone in this entry. the day is not picking up. i can't find a suitable restaurant for v day in sgp. i just realised i don't have enough weekends in sgp to meet up with people! argh.
