Tesuto wa owarimashita!!!! Bansai!!

It wasn't as easy as i thought, but 60% shouldn't be a problem. Hope everything turns out well then! cross eyes, toes, fingers, anything crossable. ONE DOWN!

Now to my next hurdle, early morning meeting tomorrow. aiyah.. hope old foggies will not ask too many questions. Then it will TWO DOWN!!!

I always seem to get the horribly big things together. first was jlpt exam, then the meeting, then the tender and then my wedding. so many things to do, so little energy and time. hate the feeling of not being to do anything to perfection. everything is like 60% here, 70% there, maybe 80% if i'm lucky.

sorta accepted an overseas posting (seems like it anyway, since i'm the only bugger that agreed to get posted for the longest span of time) at a cold cold place. if they send me, i'll be leaving in feb. that will be about 1 mth after hao-e is estimated to leave anyway. gives me some time, to pack, send the dog away, use up my toiletries... buy loads of fur coast and cashmere sweaters.... yah right, as if they pay me enuff, i'll prob have to skin my dog to get a fur coat... yeek

3.5 more working days. my mind is on holiday! last evening's kickboxing class totally killed me! i huffed and puffed and threatened to punch my imaginary opponent senseless, but in the end, it was i that suffered, not the air molecules that got knocked around. my body is aching like a 90-year-old who's just completed 100 push-ups. i couldn't sleep last night because of the pain. i had to wake hao-e up to massage my shoulder-blades which were so sore and is still kicking up a ruckus behind me. my gosh! i tis old and feeble.

Back Safe and Sound

This is my first post since we left Bermuda for Singapore more than 3 weeks ago. We are battling serious jet lag this time. it might be the age-factor (yikes!) or because we didn't rest properly on the flights (yes plural!) back cos we were busy trying to exhaust all the new movies on krisworld, or maybe a combination of both lah. but both of us have been trying very hard to keep awake at 3pm. yes, the sleep monster strikes at that hour! thank God we are going to remove time saving tonight, so we have 1 less hour to correct this weekend. talking about movies, twilight was amazingly easy on the eye! although i hesitate to call ourselves twilight converts given that i was highly skeptical at first. but the eye candy in the form of Rob Pattersin/Edward Cullen is really irresistible (did you know Rob Pattersin was Cedric in Harry Potter??) .... argh. i wanna get bitten by this vamp too lor! BITE ME! Hao-e even bought New Moon (the sequal) to read this weekend and i spent almost ...

Back To Reality

It's over! We're finally married (in the eyes of the Church!). It was really pretty fun last sat, thank God for the sunny weather (a bit hot lah, but at least it didn't rain till after), for the wonderful guests and my fantastic friends. hope it wasn't too uncomfortable under the sun for everyone.
