The weekend passed too quickly! How i wished weekends last 5 days instead of 2.

we had a wonderful time tasting a total of 7 wines last friday. it was the trading team's event, and we managed to go cos hao-e supporting the traders. there weren't too many of us there, as the team wasn't large, but it was a night full of surprises. we or actually i learnt during the course of the evening, that we may not move over to the uk afterall. in the space of 2 weeks, the dynamics have changed and it mayn't be such a good idea to move. that was disappointing of course, since i had already started looking at jobs on the websites. but then again, we're doing pretty ok here, settling into a routine, meeting some of the friendliest and chattiest people in the world (!). ah well, there ain't no point in planning anything now. not within our control anymore. BUT, i am looking forward to a short holiday in London next week. I haven't been back since Oct 2003 and that's 4+ years ago!! aww.. been planning our itinerary since last week. looks like we will be able to catch some shows whilst there.

3.5 more working days. my mind is on holiday! last evening's kickboxing class totally killed me! i huffed and puffed and threatened to punch my imaginary opponent senseless, but in the end, it was i that suffered, not the air molecules that got knocked around. my body is aching like a 90-year-old who's just completed 100 push-ups. i couldn't sleep last night because of the pain. i had to wake hao-e up to massage my shoulder-blades which were so sore and is still kicking up a ruckus behind me. my gosh! i tis old and feeble.

Back Safe and Sound

This is my first post since we left Bermuda for Singapore more than 3 weeks ago. We are battling serious jet lag this time. it might be the age-factor (yikes!) or because we didn't rest properly on the flights (yes plural!) back cos we were busy trying to exhaust all the new movies on krisworld, or maybe a combination of both lah. but both of us have been trying very hard to keep awake at 3pm. yes, the sleep monster strikes at that hour! thank God we are going to remove time saving tonight, so we have 1 less hour to correct this weekend. talking about movies, twilight was amazingly easy on the eye! although i hesitate to call ourselves twilight converts given that i was highly skeptical at first. but the eye candy in the form of Rob Pattersin/Edward Cullen is really irresistible (did you know Rob Pattersin was Cedric in Harry Potter??) .... argh. i wanna get bitten by this vamp too lor! BITE ME! Hao-e even bought New Moon (the sequal) to read this weekend and i spent almost ...

Back To Reality

It's over! We're finally married (in the eyes of the Church!). It was really pretty fun last sat, thank God for the sunny weather (a bit hot lah, but at least it didn't rain till after), for the wonderful guests and my fantastic friends. hope it wasn't too uncomfortable under the sun for everyone.
