The one thing, which i confess i will never do, and will not even entertain the thought of doing unless:-
1) lightning strikes me and i lose my memory; or
2) a car hits me and i lose my memory; or
3) i lose my mind and my memory along with it;
IS....

RUN.
Running for short bursts i can do, i.e.:
1) after the bus or any long object that has a schedule that it sticks to,or a schedule it refuses to stick to; or
2) for 10 mins waiting for aerobics class to start so that i don't feel so cold; or
3) when chased by dog or any four to six-legged animal.
Running for anything above 10mins or more than 1km? Regrettably, NO WAY!!!
I recall the nightmares I had before NAPFA 1.6km in primary school and 2.4km later on. OH! and don't forget the annual "marathon" at McRitchie. i swear i always imagine a cough/cold/fever/headache just to wiggle out of doing it.
I DETEST RUNNING!
There, I said it.
But some people do, and they test themselves on very exotic terrain, i might add. A friend of ours is taking part in a run across Gobi. I mean, Gobi as in the desert ok. Cool eh? It's called Gobi March 2008 and it happens in June (not March!). And guess what? "The largest contingent of competitors from Asia hails from Singapore with 19." Woah!!! Go Singapore!
